Description
Dated 1889, on paper, signed, dated and titled on front (all printed). The portrait consists of John Alden and Priscilla Mullins who were two of the famous passengers on the Mayflower who helped found Plymouth Colony. John was the ship's cooper, and Priscilla was a teenager who lost her family during the first harsh winter. They married around 1622 or 1623 and had 10 children, becoming the ancestors of millions of people today. Wood frame. Frame dimensions - 14.5" x 17.5"
